My car was due for its MOT this month so I duly booked it in for a service weeks in advance like a good little girl. Not long after I booked it in I started to get the ABS warning light and tracking light coming on randomly. After reading the manual and googling 'chances of imminent death', I determined that a) yes, the brakes would still work even if it was the ABS system and b) it was considerably more likely to be the sensor not the system.

I was right but while the garage give you a detailed breakdown on the invoice, there are only so many characters they can use. You know where this is going, don't you?

Yes. Apparently they fitted a new sensor for my anti lock bra.
