Much, much love for kissbingo

I'm having huge amounts of fun with this challenge, even if it's not exactly panning out the way I planned it. I suspect that, like

mmom/

mmom, it will be something that results in me writing in a lot of disparate, one off fandoms that I don't normally dabble in.

For example, I've just written 2,500 of Jessica/Hoyt fic, set just after that scene in 3.11 (you know the one). I suspect this means that I will actually have to join the

jessica_hoyt comm instead of just watching it as I have been for the last several months ::g:: Also, I have acquired icon (as I was eyeing it when it hit the comm yesterday before I'd even thought of this fic).

I will have to get back to the Abby/Connor fic I have half-written, and some of the LotS fics I have plotted out (although originally I was planning LotS porn for this square instead of Jessica/Hoyt porn ::g::). But still. So. Much. Fun.

You should all go and sign up for a

kissbingo card. Like, right now. I'll wait!

Oh, and

moonlettuce? I think I may have an idea for that pairing we've been talking about. Nothing concrete, yet, but I may have a square and a vague concept. However, I think you should still write yours for schmoop bingo. It could be a sequel ::g:: First comes kissing, then comes marriage... Well, you know the rest ::veg::

Well, I finally signed up for the primevalathon

At the last minute, as usual ::g:: I bypassed the whole 'think of a reasonable prompt thing' - which is the reason I always sign up at the last minute (well, that and the fact that I prevaricate like a prevaricating thing) - by hitting up the free photo stock sites and picking pretty pictures.

That I can do ::g:: In fact, I'm vaguely wondering if I should follow

she_is_to_me's lead and maybe make this a regular prompt thing over on

primeval_canon and

primeval. I used to do a fic prompt thing once a week over on

primeval_canon but no one was interested - I think only one person ever filled the prompts. But perhaps if I make it a monthly or quarterly thing, and lured people in with pretty pictures, it might generate some more interest. I shall ponder some more.

And if anyone on the old flist is thinking of signing up for

primevalathon and hasn't done so yet (::eyes you all::) sign ups close today. Because, of course I'd remembered it was the 14th today before it showed up in

My plan for today involves a) showering, b) getting dressed and c) finishing the Blue Water High fic. On current form, I may not achieve any of them.

Shameful confession time...

So, um... Would there happen to be any Aussies on my flist who have a passing knowledge of Blue Water High? Because I've only looked for - and found - season 3 on youtube for the Craig Horner-ness of it so far.

Not that I am currently writing fic for

kissbingo or anything, you understand. But if I was to do such a thing - theoretically, of course - I might need to tap someone who wouldn't mind me bouncing ideas off them and possibly betaing a fic at some point

Oh, bugger...

Apparently I've accidentally ::cough:: signed up for

kissbingo.

temaris isn't entirely convinced by my argument that it's all

moonlettuce's fault (but she signed up first! And tempted me into it by... signing up first!), so I'm simply going to blame the whole lot of you for leading me astray.

Although, I stand by my opinion that me pointing out that I was merely a sweet young thing led astray by the perfidy of my flist wasn't that funny. Certainly not enough for her to choke on anything.

I may not have had anywhere enough sleep in the last week and far too much caffeine. That should probably scare you even more than ~PLANS~. Also, I have to make my first video like EVER! for the latest

legendland challenge, which means I'm utterly screwed and not in the fun way.
