I'm sure we all draw on real responses to write everything (otherwise everything we wrote would be crap). I have my own issues about sex that crop up with the writing and especially with posting things where other people can see.

But femslash hits closer to my own desires I think, or hits a rawer, more vulnerable part of myself.
