Just had that strange 'Not-Jennie' experience, only in this instance 'Not-Jennie' pinged me rather than the other way around.
::blink::
They then proceeded to get very confused and signed off. ::sigh:: How odd.

Ok, I read that, wondered what parallel universe I'd fallen into, tried to figure out where 'Not-Jennie' fitted in with the 'Not-Shirt' from BtS, and then remembered the aim stuff *snigger*
Surrealism reigns...
Not sure whether to be confused or not, but suffice it to say I very rarely use that aim name these days, so unless I log on and say hi with a very obvious 'Jen' term, it probably isn't me. *g*

Only in my dreams, sweetie, only in my dreams...

Okay - thought about the Jenniek45 situation. Two actually - see, I can multitask ::g::
i) just in case you've left the handle in an internet cafe somewhere, you globe trotter you, it might not be a bad idea to change the password
ii) if you don't use it very often, I'll take it off my buddies list. I've got my non-public AIM name set up so that only people on my buddies list can see me, so that will sort that and whoever this confused person is, they can't see me :) Reduces the confusion all around, me thinks.

You left your name on my AIM, but as I told you at the time I wiped it off - must have been October/November soon after I got back. I half-wondered if it was a glitch in my own system but a) I was on AIM last night and can't exactly go on double (well I could if I could fly to and fro Chris' machine or the laptop, technically, but didn't) and b) as I told you, Jennie45 told me to piss off last night....?
Oh and c) I've seen Jenny45 up on Chris' machine when mine is turned off, i.e. no network connection and that name wasn't on that computer. So it's unlikely to say the least.
I *have* wiped Ariadne off, but she still pops up now and again. Charlotte sees her occasionally when she's logged on, often at about 9 pm here (8 UK). I mailed AOL to ask for info and got nothing back. Now what is REALLY weird is that Ariadne had the same password (now changed) that I used for my website, which was definitely tampered with last week.
Paranoia rules OK.
