I chatted to quite a few people at the con but I have no idea if I met you! I was the one with the big purple hair... (I'm going to be terribly embarrassed if we had a conversation but I didn't realise who it was I was talking to!)

We took Nibble's dalek with us so he'd have a toy to play with on the Friday night at the meet and greet. I figured remote controlled dalek + ballroom floor would be just the thing for a bored nibble. As it turned out, the dalek never hit the floor because the table worked perfectly adequately.

Then it transpired that the4ts had taken glow sticks.

The conclusion was inevitable.

Disco Dancing Dalek! Followed by Dalek Ring Toss!

Nibble had immense fun, as did everyone else (except Becca, who apparently is scared of daleks and, for some reason, it knew that and kept making a beeline for her and shooting her. Can't think why...). Including the Peg2 guests. David Nykl was heard to say to his minder, as he walked past our table, 'I want to go to that table! It's the coolest!'

Hee!

Ivy Isenberg nailed the ring toss on her second try, from across the table with its back to her. I think Chuck got two, after Tem held the dalek still for him. And one other person got one too, maybe Kate.

Then some guy brought down a lifesized K9 working model and Nibble was just in awe.

So, yes. A good time was had by all.

That was Friday night, and on Saturday night I didn't take Nibble down to the fancy dress, but I did put my boogie shoes on after he'd gone to bed and danced most of the night away. When I was curled up on the stairs with the other slashers and cackling madly, scaring the local populace.
