My tennis elbow has really flared up ::pout:: So I'm rather sore and back on the heavy duty painkillers. And feeling sorry for myself.

So have some memes. Maybe it will help take my mind off the ouch!

In other news, I'm rather fond of this new userpic ::g:: It came out very Gainsborough - the studio, not the painter. Yes, I was a weird child who used to spend my formative years watching very old movies. So what else is new?

A blast from the past - Sam Curtis.

Three facts from my personal fanon...

i) Sam Curtis and Carl Dietrich were more than just friends. Carl wasn't the first man that Sam had sex with, but he was the first man where it was more than just a release of endorphins.

Sam still visits his grave sometimes. Just not very often.

ii) He never ended up giving his dad Ingrid Sommelson's autograph. He meant to - he always meant to - but by the time he got around to visiting, his dad had had his second stroke and this time he went straight into a care home from hospital.

Sam got it framed but it wasn't the same somehow, especially when his dad started to get confused.

Now it sits in Sam's study with the rest of his dad's memorabilia. There's not much, and it doesn't take up much room. It's not a shrine, but it's more of his father than the shell he visits who thinks that Sam is his uncle, who died before Sam was even born.

iii) He's never actually had a threesome with Chris and Backup - and since both are armed and crack shots he's never suggested it to either of them. But given half the chance, he would.
