SG1 Drabble

It creeps up on ya, that smile. Gushing here, but it does. Like the sun, peeking out from behind the clouds. Starts slowly, slightest upturn at the corner of his lips. His eyes never leave you, like he’s checking it’s okay to smile. Gets in your face when he thinks you need it, but needs permission to smile. So I push, prod, tease and finally get the full works. Better than the sun. Lights up my day.

Yeah, I admit it. When it comes to my Spacemonkey, I’m a sap. He has a habit of creeping up on you too.

Still bored

Another SG1 drabble...

He’s watching me again. He does that a lot. He thinks I haven’t noticed, or that if I do I’ll put it down to his infamous mother hen instincts. He’s notorious for fussing over me, his inept little Spacemonkey. Hugs. Touches.

Caresses.

Unsure of the meaning behind these touches I pretend I haven’t noticed. I do that a lot too, pretend to bury myself in my work, in whatever artefact I’m painstakingly uncovering. Usually I do lose myself, become completely unaware of my surroundings. But not when he’s watching me.

When he’s watching me all I’m aware of is him.
