That's better. Have been without internet access all afternoon. I'd forgotten what real life was like. So, after playing hell with blueyonder and discovering most of Newcastle were in fact access impaired I decided I'd go and do all those things I've been putting off/too lazy to do.
Updated the CI5 Ops site with three new stories - two slash and one gen. Well, I last updated two weeks ago and couldn't be arsed to do it again until now. And in those two weeks, I've only received three stories and only one of those hasn't appeared on the list. I think that under those circumstances fortnightly updates is perfectly adequate and anyone who doesn't can bite me ::g::
It's not prevarication on my part, honest. It's prioritisation. I've had other projects to deal with. Besides, it's not the coding that's the problem, it's the updating the search engine and feedback form and downloading text files page and ... ah, the list is endless. And at least I don't have people mailing me anymore and complaining because I haven't instantly updated the site with stories that they've stupidly deleted from their inboxes before reading and that they simply can't be bothered to go and read from the yahellgroup archives. They can bite me too. ::g::
In fact, I'm having a 'bite me' day. I'm either in touch with my Inner Dominatrix or it's heading towards that time of the month again. I'm not aggressive or irritable, simply unconcerned with the opinion of others. 'Your opinion of me, mere mortal, has no weight so... bite me'.
Ah, that's it then. I'm actually channelling my inner Evil Overlord. Well, that's all to the good ::g::
I've also burnt a lot of MacGyver eps, which have been sitting on my hard drive for ages, and Andromeda eps (ditto) to cd. I've still got more to go though. And I've played with Daniel and Play Doh, done lots of housework (related to the former) and been to Tescos. A productive day I suppose. One thing I haven't done is write but I've finished two fics this week and, hell, what do you people want? Blood?
Actually, knowing you lot, that's rather a stupid question, isn't it? Not just blood but a bucket to put it in and a sarcophagus for entertainment purposes ::g::
