As I can't actually remember who wrote what (and I am not going to go and look up who was writing for whom because a) I am too lazy and b) that would be cheating), I feel perfectly justified in recommending the stories I liked on
sga_santa.
So here's the first batch, in alphabetical order as I work my way through all the stories.
And In That Dreaming Weep (Sheppard/Teyla, R)
I loved this story, with a Teyla who is strong and confident, and understands John, both on a basic and more nuanced level.
Blood and First Snow (McKay/Sheppard, PG)
A lovely little slice of life on a mission, with a vaguely Christmas feel to it.
By The Light of Evening Stars (Weir/Zelenka implied, not rated but not higher than PG13)
Subtle but pleasant. And there isn't enough of this pairing.
Days Under Different Stars (McKay/Sheppard, G)
I loved the quiet interactions between the team in this story, and the little exchanges that said so much while saying so little, and yet managed to capture the dynamic perfectly. And the world-building, with the little rituals of trade that make so much sense in a universe where threats come from all sides.
Fall (Sheppard/Weir, R)
Lovely, protective John and an Elizabeth who's both strong and vulnerable.
Friday I'm In Love (Lorne/Zelenka, PG)
Very subtle but telling, with an interesting depiction of Zelenka and Lorne as McKay and Sheppard's 2ICs and what that means for Atlantis.
Inflated (McKay/Sheppard, PG13)
Lovely interactions between McKay and Sheppard and very funny in parts.
