There's a new author who has just started posting to Wraithbait today. She's writing gen so far and I've been very impressed with what she's posted to date. It's very militaristic but in character, and all of the characters are well portrayed - as adults and responsible ones at that. And what I love the most is that Lorne and Caldwell get a significant amount of screentime and are well rounded characters.
Her name is Domenika Marzione and her stories are all here. I particularly liked The Jenny Code for not shrinking back from the horrific nature of armed conflict. It felt real and yet was well written, almost understated rather than over emotive and wangsty. But the rest are worth checking out too.
