Boosting the signal, as it were

A while ago, moonlettuce/moonlettuce set up northeast_slash, which was intended to be a comm for slashers in and around the North East part of England (or in travelling distance thereof), to work along the lines of londonslashers. At the time, I think the only people using it were those who already knew each other and so planning of events and the like kind of defaulted to e-mail or our personal journals rather than going via the comm, but she's decided to try and get it off the ground again.

So I'm boosting the signal, in case I have any local fen on my flist/reading circle who aren't on hers and who might be interested. If you're in the area, or know people who are and may be interested in local meet-ups and the like, please consider joining or passing the message on.
