Consider fanlistings the equivalent of carving your twu wuvs name on a tree - only without the arbory mutilation.

It's simply signing your name to say 'yeah! I love this!' and that's it. Sometimes, if you have a website, you can grab a code and put it on your website and link back to the fanlisting so that everyone can see you like this.

And your name goes on a list of fans on the site, and you can choose to link your website or have your e-mail address available (but you don't have to link your site and you can hide your e-mail address) and then other fans can find your website in the hope that, as a fan, you might have some smut.
