I know exactly what you mean. That horrible wibbly feeling whenever you try and write in a new fandom ::g:: The 'oh, God, I'm going to suck' feeling.
And I am thinking of writing more DA fic but I'll be honest. I tend, in this fandom at least, to the ::whisper:: het side of the fence. Not averse to the slash and I love the gen but it's Max and Alec that really make me gleeful. It's the schoolyard version of romance. I swear, if they had inkwells around, Alec would so be dipping her pigtails in it.

Have you seen Still Life yet? Jensen is definitely illegally pretty in that.
