I've always loved the idea of Alec/Logan but the stories, even considering this is a small fandom, are remarkably hard to find. And the most of the ones that do exist hit a weak or sour chord.
I love 'needy' Alec because it takes advantage of those hints of vulnerability that we were shown, but most other stories take it too far to be believable. This was just perfect.
I think you captured both of their characters perfectly.
...and Alec loved it, arching into each stroke, each feather light touch, like an affection starved cat.
Perfect description of Alec. He needs more human contact than he'll ever let on, but he'll only accept it on his terms and when he's pretty much reached the point where he really needs to.
I really liked the way you've written Logan, too. He's conflicted and wary, but compassionate and caring. I'm glad you didn't sweep aside what he still feels for Max. That's too much a part of him. I love how conflicted he was over giving his entire supply of tryptophan to Alec at first, wanting to save some 'just in case' for Max but when faced with Alec's real need, he couldn't (and didn't want to) reject him.
This is a definite keeper to add to my small store of DA fics. Thanks for sharing and I'll be greedy and hope for more.
