I think that's one of the reasons I fell so hard and fast for the show, the fabulous female characters. I love that this show, which many people seem to dismiss because of its genre and because they perceive it as cheese, is a hell of a lot more progressive in its depiction of women, and passes the Bechdel test so frequently and with apparently so little effort, than a lot of mainstream shows.
I think it's a huge pity that it was never advertised or scheduled in such a way as to find its audience. And we're back to terrible reality shows and never ending cop procedures or shows that depict women as scheming shrews. ::sigh::
