I have actually finished the first draft of my Weir/Zelenka Thing-a-Thon two whole days before the deadline. And I did not stay up until 3am for several mornings in a row in order to do so, which is unheard of. And munchkinott and davechicken have not been forced to listen to me whine, also unheard of.

There is only one conclusion that can be drawn from this.

The end is nigh. Run now while you still can!

Dude! I finished mine a couple weeks ago! Which was miraculous because I got the prompt and was kind of "Oh. Um." for weeks. It's even been beta'd already.

a) has to plot everything of a story out in her head before she can even think about writing it down;

b) prevaricates endlessly; and

c) appears to have decided that fuck necessity being the mother of invention, it's panic all the way, baby!

I'm surprised I'm still not staring at a blank page going 'oh... fudgecake!'

I'm impressed. I still think I'll make the deadline, but just like with signups, I'm going to be doing the internet equivalent of sliding it under your office door at 11:55 pm, I'm afraid. I've had houseguests for the last week and more are coming today and there are still two scenes unwritten. *plays sad violin music for herself*

I feel bad, first I never finished my Reel challenge, now this one is due. So, tomorrow I will write it, and maybe if I'm lucky get it done by that night too. The reason I feel doubly bad is mine is for you, Alyse, and if anyone you deserve the story. So, I'll try to write as fast as possible, but I just got over my writer's block today.
