And, no, it does not stand for 'Pissy, Snarky Al!', which I'm sure you're all very relieved about :)
For those in the UK, Play.com are having a 75% off Sci Fi boxed sets sale. It's been on for a while and I keep meaning to mention it but keep forgetting.
Among the items on offer that might be of interest to the flist are SG:Atlantis boxed set season 1 for £28 instead of £60, Firefly for £15 and both seasons of Dark Angel for £15 (when I looked for them two or three months ago, cheapest I could find them for was about £40 and eventually got Season 1 from Caiman USA and Season 2 in HMV's sale). So I have been pimping madly.
These are all obviously Region 2, but I figured that some of you might be interested. For example, just look at the pretty Alec in my icon. Now, isn't that interesting?

Oh, I don't know whether to fall down at your feet and thank you or kill you! I have to go away on bloomin' fieldtrip to Brussels for a week in just under a fortnight so need all the dosh I have for that as they never pay our expenses up front and we have to claim back for them :( Waaaaah! I want, I want, I want...
Started to watch Dark Angel in La Belle France but lost it (or track of it) when I moved back to Blighty. Ahh, les trilogies de samedi on M6 (or should that be 'des samedis'?). How I do miss thee! 3 good sci-fi programmes (or what could vaguely pass for them) in a row every Saturday night. Does DA end sadly/badly/on an unresolved cliffhanger? If so, I will pass. If not, get behind me Satan!

Season 2 ends somewhere that it kind of stands alone but did open up a potentially whole new interesting direction for Season 3, which never materialised. But it has a resolution and no one is left kidnapped/on life support/missing presumed dead etc.
And lookit the pretty Max to go with the pretty Alec!
