So, I got a reply to my e-mail to ITV:

Dear Ms [me],

Thank you for your email.

We currently have no schedule information for Primeval as our schedules
only show information for up to 14 days in advance.

Early indications point to Primeval being shown in spring, but this is
yet to be confirmed.

So, I'm pretty damned sure that the new season is not starting on Saturday 14th.
