It's only semi-permanent, so probably not, but I dyed it over my normal permanent red so who knows.
Basically, dye washes out of my hair fairly quickly, especially bright reds, leaving my hair more blonde than red by the time I'm ready to dye the roots again (about every 8-10 weeks). So the shop where I buy my (salon quality) dye suggested that if I wanted something brighter than I'm getting, I should try using a semi-permanent dye between permanent dyes, although that might be a bit more expensive. And they suggested this one, which is Crazy Color Fire Red.
And I love it!
Given that I switched from using my hairdresser to dye my hair to doing it myself (because she used to do blonde and red streaks, which I can't do, but for the last couple of years has been doing full head of one colour, which I can do) it's a lot cheaper anyway, and even doing it twice as often (permanent then semi-permanent then permanent again), it still works out cheaper.
And there's a shop in our town that actually stocks and sells hair dyes both to professional hairdressers and to the public, so I have the same colours my hairdresser would use anyway.
