So, in an interesting case of synchronicity, apparently Google have just settled the class action suit in relation to Google Buzz's privacy issues for $8.5 million.
I wonder if livejournal is paying any attention. Also, I wonder why no one has brought a similar suit against Facebook, given their appalling track record on user privacy. Or maybe they have, and I've not seen it. All I use Facebook for is random and meaningless updates in relation to my iphone games and keeping track of my father's side of the family, which is extensive to say the least. I don't post anything personal, but even so, I'm friends only, at least until the next time Facebook changes settings on me without warning.
