Ma ship is canon, baby! For the first time in the history of forever, I have shipped a ship that becomes canon.

She kissed him! She kissed him! And it was as totally sweet and angsty Connorish as I could ever have hoped for. And he keeps his eyes closed all the way through. And his little smile afterwards just makes me grin. And he's completely in love, and she's completely realised and she finally kisses him and she does it slow and sweet and tenderly (and hands up all the 'Connor is a virgin but Abby will be gentle with him' fans).

Of course, this inevitably means that one or other of them will die horribly at some point, probably at the end of this series, because that's just my luck but I am totally not thinking about that right now!

It doesn't actually give away any of the plot points of the episode, in as much as I have no idea what happens in relation to anomalies, monsters, characters other than the EEEEE thing.

Put it this way - it hasn't spoiled the ep for me. It just makes me want the whole episode, and everything before and after it, right now, damn it! ::g::

Yeah, but I prefer to stay as unspoiled as possible (says the woman who has read the comments to the post on the ConnorandAbby comm, and this post, despite the huge spoiler warnings plastered all over them!).

You realise that I'm going to spend the rest of the series waiting for it to all go horribly wrong, and something will happen that stops them getting together, or one of them will get killed/maimed/have amnesia and not remember that they ever got together and kissed. Because the writers are evil bastards like that.

In the meantime, before they tear our hearts out and stamp on them and taunt us with Connor/Abby before ripping it away in some cruel and heartless way, I want ep 8 NOW dammit!

I know! As I said in the main body of my post, it is now guaranteed that one of them will die before the end of the series. I am - literally - the kiss of death!

I'd like to think that they wouldn't be evil enough to kill *two* main characters in one series. But my money is on there being *something* that stops them properly getting together and keeps the UST angle of their relationship. There's no drama in them living happily ever after.
